I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Met a recruiter at the school career fair, followed that with a face to face interview. Then advanced to an interview at one of their local branches. That interview consisted of two recruiters asking predetermined questions. One of the assessors was an older gentleman and wanted specific examples for each response; but it couldn't be school related. This made it difficult being that I was a full time college student and all my examples had something to do with the past four years in college. It was a curve ball that made the interview much more complex than it should have been.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give me an example of a time when something unprepared happened and how did you dealt with it?-Can't be related to any scholastic activity
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
