I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Tempe, AZ)
Interview
Phone screen followed by in person interview. The phone screen part was very brief, as well as the in person interview. After the in person interview, I was told I would be contacted via call or email; I received a email, and I knew what that meant: I didn't make it to the next round. I was told they were looking for someone with good character, but my "thanks but no thanks" email said something about me not having the skills they're looking for. It's a shame, because I was really interested in this position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2020
Interview
I spoke with the recruiter on the phone for introductory phone interview, it lasted about 10 minutes and interviewer was very friendly. The job description was very ambiguous, it turned out that it wasnt the type of job i was looking for
Phone screening interview included background, career aspirations, behavioral questions and time for me to ask questions about the company. After passing the phone interview, I had an in person interview at the Bellevue office. Sitting with two hiring managers of different divisions, they delve into understanding my upbringing, college/leadership experience and career aspirations. I appreciated the transparency in what the recruiter position entailed to ensure a right fit for the job opportunity. The recruiter that initially interviewed me, followed up with me about my in person interview, which I greatly appreciated.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you were faced with a difficult situation and how did you respond to it?
Why do you want this position?
How do you view failures?
Applied online and got a call within a week. First had a phone interview with the recruiter which involves just getting to know why I want the position further and if it is a good fit for me. Also explains what the job role is about and talks further about the company that you will be placed with. Then scheduled a face to face interview at the same time. The recruiter was very flexible to work around my schedule to find a good time for the face to face interview.
The first interview is on site with the company you are going to be placed with. It was a good opportunity to see the location and working environment. It was with the same recruiter I spoke with on the phone and this time it's more about your skills, experience, qualification and how you can be matched to the job.
I got an email the next day informing me about my next interview with the account managers. I also got a phone call from the recruiter and she offered me tips and was really helpful as she stated she wanted me to get the job. The interview took place at the Aerotek headquarters in Mississauga. It was with the on site manager and the strategic account executive (who showed up late and interrupted my focus). But it was a typical interview with mostly behavioural questions and questions based on my past work experience.
After the interview I waited at least a week, then contacted the recruiter who told me a decision hadn't been made yet. Waited another week and contacted her again and she said the managers went on holiday without giving her a response. At this point I felt less enthusiastic about the job that when she finally called me and told me I didn't get the job(I kinda already figured) it didn't hurt so much. All in all it was a 3.5/5 experience.
