I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek in Mar 2015
Interview
It began as a relatively simple process. I uploaded my resume on their website and was contacted the next day via email. My recruiter set up a phone interview, and we had a 45 minute long conversation about my skills and experience. She also asked a handful of behavioral questions. As the phone interview came to an end, I was instructed to think the position over for a couple of days and contact the recruiter if I wished to proceed. This SHOULD have been a red flag. I called and explained that I really was interested in the position and an in-person interview was scheduled. I arrived 20 minutes early to find that I would not be meeting with the intended interviewer. Rather, I was to meet with an account manager. I wouldn't even consider this event an interview. I was asked incredibly personal, private, and inappropriate questions. Not a single question was about my experience or skills. My interviewer even answered a phone call as I was responding to one of his mind-numbing questions, and he didn't bother to excuse himself. When the interview came to an end, I asked him if he saw my values, skills and experience being of use to Aerotek. He politely told me "no," and explained himself. I can't begin to explain the relief I felt when he told me that I wouldn't make a good fit. I could never work for a company that treats its potential candidates with such disrespect. If you are easily trained (like a puppy....not a fully competent human) this job is perfect for you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What three words would your best friend use to describe you?
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.

Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
