The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (Portland, OR) in Jul 2010
Interview
The group interview was great and interesting to observe. There were 4 of us in the room. The manager made a good presentation; made you want to find out more about it. The 1 on 1 interview was more serious and realistic. It was a good examination of the "real" nuts and bolts of the job. Maybe a little too serious...
Basically no interview at all. Just wanted to know if I was on board with a commission only position. Maybe would have involved more questioning on their end if I didn’t have as much professional experience as I do.
Very comfortable. Met with two ladies who were very welcoming and professional. Typical interview questions for this type of job: Scenarios, Tell me about yourself and experience with difficult situations.
Was asked multiple questions by two different recruiters. Ask me only to give answers and not to continue explaining myself after answers. They were kind but it felt a little awkward at times.
