I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Sterling, VA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Saw an ad on my college website. Got a phone call like 4-5 days later. They said they wanted me to come to open house which they had every Wednesday apparently. I went in for the open house, watched some video about the company with 4 other people with me in the room. Video was pretty long. Someone who worked for the company came in and started talking. An hour passed in total going over how the company gets money, it sounded like some pyramid scheme. When it ended the spokesperson said we'd all get phone calls. I actually got an email for an interview with the Manager the next day! The HR representative offered me to come in at 11am, 2pm, or 3:30pm. I declined.
The interview process was easy. They go through slides that tell you about the company and then ask a few basic questions. They also ask you what you know about the company.
Very professional, began with a phone call and full explanation of why the call took place and why they saw it would be a good fit for the position/firm. 2nd interview was in person, and likewise was well plan, explained, and executed.
