The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Agilent Technologies (Carpinteria, CA) in May 2017
Interview
Recruiter HR screen, followed by half day in person interview: presentation to group, manager interview, director, then group panel.
It was a positive experience. I think we both realized that they needed some specialty skills and experience I don't bring to the table and I knew there was a chance they'd still hire me if they didn't find someone else, but everyone was courteous and honest and recruiter gave a follow up despite not having an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Agilent Technologies (Wilmington, DE) in Nov 2014
Interview
The process started with a phone screen with the hiring manager. Next I was invited onsite. I had to give a presentation about my current scientific work. After the presentation I sat down with a panel of several employees and was asked personality based questions.
