I interviewed at Air Liquide (Melbourne) in Aug 2017
Interview
After a phone screen I attended their office for an interview. It went reasonably well, we covered a lot of ground and the conversation was both friendly and professional. We discussed the company, the role, and my background. It went for 45 to 60 mins, and I felt that I had made a good impression. Similarly I was left with a positive impression of the interviewers, and the company, based on what they had to say.
Things took a downward turn after the interview when the main point of contact dropped off the radar. I chased them, and their promised calls never eventuated. It took some weeks to receive a rather vague email that I took to be a rejection. We're all adults, I would have appreciated clear, honest and prompt communication even if there was bad news!
In summary, although the interview itself was positive I was disappointed that all traces of professionalism disappeared after the interview.
