I have never had a more unprofessional interview experience in my 18+ years of professional experience. They had me work with an agency recruiter who asked me extremely personal questions, such as: age, marital status, do I own a home, do I have kids, etc.? Being an HR professional I was beyond shocked that these questions were being asked of me! Even though it wasn't an AP employee interviewing me, they need to be aware that their candidates are being asked illegal questions. I never leave bad reviews, but I really hope they see this and take action. And I hope they did not make a decision about me based on my answers to those questions (that I shouldn't have answered)! Once I made it past the agency recruiter I was interviewed by one of their recruiters and was asked very basic questions for someone at my level. I had gone through maybe 3 phone interviews, plus a very awkward video interview (most of the questions were repetitive), and then I did not hear anything back for weeks, only for them to tell me they were changing the direction of the position. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will likely not consider further positions with this company.
