I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (Portland, OR) in Jul 2012
Interview
The initial process was all online: doing a personal video, answering questions via a phone recording so the answers were off-the-cuff; definitely want to know your way around the website. After that round, there were 2 in-city group meetings with role-playing, meeting the other candidates as well as interviewers and trainees, and food. Culture was highlighted in terms of the informality of the setting. After the meet and greet and role-playing, we each met with an interviewer for a pretty short (under 5 minutes) one-on-one interview. Then we found out via email whether we were hired or not.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I didn't think the questions were difficult. It was a bit odd to be asked to role play specific Airbnb questions and pretend to have an answer on the phone when we didn't know any of the policies. But if you were able to answer confidently, that came across.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Airbnb (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2014
Interview
I was interviewed for role of Customer Rep. in Airbnb. The first interview was through Hire Art, and then I was invited to last group interview in Dublin. It was like a workshop. It was a group interview and they expected from candidates that they almost know everything about Airbnb related problems with Airbnb system. I felt like I am in a horse race, and plus when seeing other candidates how ambitious they are, I felt a bit strange.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about our biggest adventure. I think this is very relative question, because the definition of adventure is varies from individual to individual.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2014
Interview
I was initially contacted by hiring company CPL, regarding this role.
As I passed their interview process, I was moved on to Airbnbs internal interview process with a hiring meet up.
This included meeting other potential Airbnb employees, and getting a true inside into the Airbnb world.
We got inside, but was also, unaware, that we was questioned about their core values, to ensure that we indeed was a perfect match for Airbnb.

Interview
The interview and hiring process are great. Well designed for the experience. Their Talent team is respectful of your time and is flexible with scheduling. The interviews are thorough and suited for the skill set they are looking for. I have to say, I had FUN at this interview day.
