Pained to say shameful interview process. I was asked the difference between sales and marketing and I explained sales is a channel for marketing. I was laughed and ridiculed and when I asked what the right answer was, here is what the knowledgeable people at Akamai had to say, am quoting the answer : "Marketing spends money which sales earns. " What was more insulting was, they blamed our professors for not teaching reality and truth. Also my the first question i was asked was, "what question should I ask you? " I was so excited about Akamai, it makes amazing products for cloud but disappointed that they have unqualified people like my panel:/(
