I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai
Interview
I received an Initial E-mail from the HR asking for my salary expectations, desired start date.. etc.
I was then booked a Webex meeting with the hiring manager based in another country which went well.
2 weeks later I was contacted by HR to have a meeting at the local office this time with another manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2021
Interview
I had a mixed experience with Akamai
The interview took about a month and a half and was three rounds. The first one was with a manager, then a director, and finally another manager. The people I talked to were very nice and seemed like they all were very engaged and great workers! There were many great things about the actual interview such as pitching for them, relevant questions, and the credentials and day-to-day life about the job!
The only problem was the communication throughout the interview! I had to reach out many times just to get the first interview scheduled. I had to reach out four times to remind the person scheduling to schedule a third interview. Then when they didn't answer I reached out to the other interviewer (the manager) and he set up my final interview (which wasn't his job). And finally, after the final interview, I emailed just to get a response twice and never received a word back.
As I said, I really liked the company, the people, and everything once I got into the interviews, but the communication was the worst I've ever experienced when looking for a job!
6 times.
four local managers.
Two direct rear line managers (India, US) through Webex and Telephone.
30 mins each time. Three weeks overall. (First contact to get an offer).
It was very somoothly going.
