Pretty standard call with introductory call with softball questions around my experience with data science overall. No real technical quizzing or anything like that. Never heard back after that first call though
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Akamai (Kraków) in Oct 2019
Interview
The process took 3 months and is still in progress, involved recruitment pre-screening (20 min), data science technical interview I (60 min), a test task that (6-8 hours) to complete, (30 min) task review with questions, network security technical interview 60 (min), data science tech interview II (45 min), tech interview III (45 min), manager technical interview on DNS, network, cybersecurity and motivation (45 min).
Longest, most sophisticated recruitment process I've taken part in, which ultimately regretted to be involved in.
On another side never heard back of feedback on none of the stages, and replies from recruiter came always with a 1-3 business day delays.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Do you have a PhD? And additional certification? But what courses you've completed?
Spoke with recruiter twice before having a conversational interview with hiring manager. She asked a few questions about my prior work and then general questions about modeling and working with external stakeholders. Mostly, she discouraged me from continuing in the process saying it isn't really technical work
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about my experience and how I would explain a model to a customer
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Akamai in Sep 2020
Interview
The recruiter was very nice, but kept my behavioral interview short and didn't ask too many questions. I did not make it to the next round because I didn't know one of the languages required. I was encouraged to keep in contact, prepare and reapply in the future.
