Akamai Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Pre Interview: I got a call from HR by them finding my profile in one of the job sites. The position was for SSE - DevOps in MicroSeg. An interview was scheduled after 4 days of me showing interest. There should've been a coding test before the interview. But they mentioned due to some confusion in the system the interview was scheduled first. Interview: The interviewer was knowledgeable, They knew their domain well. But they asked questions expecting a particular answer in mind without room for a different correct answer. This happened with multiple questions where I gave an answer which was correct, but just because it didn't fit the answer they had in mind, they seems unhappy with it. The interview ended with some helpful advise, but they also had a lot of biased and preconceived perspectives on me. Post-Interview: There was no information, no follow up, nothing from them. No update in their recruitment portal of what status my candidature is in. No reply to my email as well requesting a status update. After 2-3 weeks of not hearing from them, I see the portal is updated that it's reject. Overall thoughts: Very poorly handled. Clearly shows they don't value their candidates.
