I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Alarm.com in Nov 2018
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter about 5 days after I applied. I first did a 15-20 minute HR phone screen where I talked about myself, why I wanted to work for alarm.com, and elaborated some more on my resume. I then did a HackerRank test with 3 questions in 2 hours. After that, I did a 30 minute phone screen with a software engineering team lead. In my experience, I thought the phone screen was a lot easier than the HackerRank, but I was rejected after the phone screen.

Recruiter phone screen, then final round back to back interviews. I am still waiting for final round interview. First phone screen was simple with normal behaviorals like tell me about yourself, was more like a conversation to see if you passed vibe check.
