I had a phone screen with the recruiter, and the phone screen went well. I was encouraged to stay in contact. I then had a phone screen with the hiring manager the next week. From there, a few days later, I had a phone screen with a vendor they were working with whom the the role would replace, and another senior leader in IT, both on the same day. So, four interviews in all, and then I heard absolutely nothing. I followed up three times with the recruiter, once with the VP/hiring manager and once with the senior IT leader I spoke with, and never got a reply. Though it should not matter that this was a VP level role paying in the $200s, common courtesy is such you should follow up with all the candidates that interview for you.
