Received an email right away to schedule an interview. Great initial interview. The assessment was emailed right away. Super easy assessment. I sent a “thank you” email followed by another “next steps” email a week later. No reply to either email. Very unprofessional!

I applied here several months ago and was contacted by a recruiter via e-mail months later explaining that the position was put on hold but now it has re-opened. We set up an interview to which I set aside time in my day to do as I was still employed- time went by and no call or follow up email. I emailed about 45 minutes after the time frame and asked about rescheduling. No response. I called her line and she forwarded my call and immediately texted me that she was on the phone and asked if she could call me back- I said of course! and she never followed up. The message has been received, clearly they are not going to pursue me, however I think this blatant disregard for people’s time and energy is really disappointing and entirely rude. I was really looking forward to this place as I see they have done charity and good things with their company as a community. For the future I would just tell the candidate “unfortunately the position has been filled” or cancel the interview don’t have them waste time and sit around waiting for a response while they are still trying to keep good faith.
