I gave Alkami three chances because I was hoping to at least get to interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, this process was one of the most disappointing. The first job I applied to got cancelled, even though there was a pending phone interview. Understandable - it happens. About 2 weeks later, I applied to the job that got posted as a replacement. We went through the process again and an interview time was set up. When the recruiter did not make contact, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and sent an email soon after. The response was acceptable and a different day/time was set up for the phone interview. The second attempt was a fail as I didn’t receive a call - again. Here we are - 2 roles, 3 attempts at a phone interview, 1 huge disappointment. I’ve had my fair share of interactions with recruiters and this one ranks up there as being one of the most unprofessional. In this day and age, with email and phone readily available, these situations shouldn’t occur. Better yet, just having integrity to do the right thing would suffice.
