It was a very quick process. I applied at The Alligiant website and shortly after was sent a link to an electronic interview. From this interview, I was invited to a group interview in Punta Gorda, florida. With this invite a flight attendant announcement was sent for memorization. Since it was an invite only, there were approximately 32 applicants present and we were assigned each a number. The interviewers consisted of 2 wonderfully friendly flight attendants, the very professional flight attendant superviser for the Punta Gorda base and the a gentleman from human resources, a delight to be around. The day began with the interviewers each giving an introduction of themselves. After this a short video about Allegiant was shown, followed by further details of the companies needs and what they had to offer us as prospective Flight Attendants. We were then broken up into 2 groups, with one group at a time being interviewed. This was somewhat of a slow process, but allowed time to get acquainted with fellow interviewees. When called, we were split again into smaller groups by number. We then were asked to stand and state our name, give what preferences we had to base assignment and to recite from memory the flight announcement. After this each chair was assigned a couple of questions based on Allegiants core values and how they have played out in our own lives. One of the questions was answered as a team with the person sitting next to you. Knowing the core values really helps with this part of the interview. That was it for the first half. Next there was a break and some were released from the interview process. We were then called in together and given our screening paperwork. The last part of the day was the one on one interview.
