Very laid back and conversational. The supervisor didn't use the "STAR" method, which is very antiquated and doesn't give a proper insight on the potential candidates qualifications. I also spoke with a team lead, who gave an insight on what the job entailed.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Mar 2013
Interview
Phone interview then 3.5 hour on campus interview. The on-campus interview was with 4 different people. Asked basic but really not technical processes, which surprised me. One person just sat with me in the room because the original interviewer was out of the office. The interviewers explained to me their processes, and I questioned them (processes seemed outdated). One interviewer was a prick who said the only problem he sees with me was that I worked for the competitor( replied back in a non pc way). After about 2 hours I began to get bored and realized that the grass is not greener and the company I currently work for is AWESOME. It appeared that the company needed some process improvements
