I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Mar 2010
Interview
I initially applied to Allstate's QRA internship, through the help of an Allstate HR recruiter I met at career fair. After an initial screening interview, I also had a phone interview with a manager, which included some brain-teasers and behavioral questions. Finally I was brought in for an office interview, where approximately half of the time was spent on brain teaser and probability questions, and half on resume and behavioral questions.

Question 1
A rectangle with a length of 6 ft, and width of 8ft, has its length decreased by 50%, and its width increase by 50%. What is the new area of the rectangle?
I applied online. I interviewed at Allstate (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2026
Interview
The first round was easy with the recruiter, just some questions about your experience. The second round was also smooth, just questions specific to the internship and some behavioral. The interview team was young but explained everything pretty well.

Question 1
What is one skill you learned from an experience and applied it to another experience?
It was good. In my process I did a hirevue and after the screening was invited for an interview with two employees. An hour long interview and that was the final round.
Common interview questions include your background, strengths, weaknesses, and achievements. Be prepared to discuss teamwork, problem-solving, leadership experiences, and your motivation for joining the company. "Describe your background and experience relevant to this role. Highlight key skills, accomplishments, and how they align with the job requirements. What motivates you to join our team and organization?
