I applied online. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Jan 2015
Interview
Filled out online application then received e-mail to set up pre-screen interview with HR. HR interview was basic 45 minute screening covering my resume. A week later I was called in for a panel interview. Very relaxed and comfortable. Asked three behavioral questions and walked through my resume having me expound on certain areas related to the position. Three people on the panel who were extremely professional and open. Lasted a little over an hour and ended up spending about 20 minutes in the lobby with the hiring manager discussing various topics in our field. Didn't get the result I wanted in the end but I feel I made some good contacts in the field.
