Interview
I applied online on their US website.
I received an initial automated email letting me know the application was received.
I received a notice close to 2 weeks later asking me to do a "video" application, which I found irritating and unnecessary. It was awkward - you had only 60 seconds to answer questions, for some, even less. They were randomized, why are you a good fit, what appeals to you about AlphaSights.
I was invited in for an interview in their offices after at least 4-6 weeks, which is a very long lagtime - where I was asked the normal interview questions and then they spent a lot of time asking about why I was pursuing a profession that was different from my main area of study in school. I didn't really see why this was relevant and said so - I find it rare that people stay in their main field of study their whole lives, particularly after graduating from a liberal arts institution.
I was not invited back for a second round - but to be honest, I don't think I would have wanted to be anyways.
