Interview
Applied Online. Called for onsite interview in Duluth, MN. Process took 3 weeks.
Two rounds of interviews. First round was as panel style with HR and Production manager. Interview lasted about 30 minutes. After the interview was told they would contact me within two weeks. Left the building and was called in for a second round interview 30 minutes later. The second round interview was the next week and was another panel style interview with the general manager and a few engineers. The interviews consisted of a run down of resume and general interview questions.
I was offered the job a week and a half later.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Altec Industries (Mount Airy, NC) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview started with a plant tour and was followed by five rounds of interviews with mangers from varying departments and backgrounds. The process was then followed by lunch as a local restaurant.
Multiple rounds of interviews. Last round was 5 more interviews with different departments. Great process to really get a lot of view points about the company. Showed around the plant and even got to ride in a sky lift

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Altec Industries (Pilot Mountain, NC) in Oct 2023
Interview
The interview process was long - about 6 rounds of 30 minute interviews, each with two people. But it gave me a good idea of the kind to people who work for the company and I got a well rounded explanation of all the engineering disciplines I might work in.
