The most disrespectful inhumane interview I have ever had. The interview was a cross between quiz show trivia and a cia interrogation. The interviewer was unprepared. Rather than a hackerrank question, the coding exercise was a scratch pad that I had screen share. During the coding section, the interviewer was off doing something else. I have been on both sides of failed interviews before. When I am interviewing a candidate, I give them the full benefit of the doubt. And I realize that interviewing is an emotional process. I feel an interviewer has a responsibility for basic human decency even for candidates they apparently feel are beneath them. This felt like more of a gestapo interrogation than a technical screen. There is no reason this process should be dehumanizing. I am quite sure they rejected my candidacy. The didn't even have the decency to send a rote email. If working at Altimetrik is anything like interviewing there, I want no part of it. I certainly would not want to work with the guy who interviewed me. There is no reason to treat candidates like crap.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe how you would define transactions in a microservices architecture.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Altimetrik in Apr 2026
Interview
2 technical round and 1 client round.
Very bad experience they took all the round and then said we wont move forward as we are having low budget.
Last round they told face to face with client but never happened.
Very slow process.
I think interview process could be better check candidate budget at start so that unnecessary time wont waste.
