The interview process at Altimetrik was smooth and the panels were professional. Everything went well until the background verification stage.
Even before giving an offer letter, they asked for my income tax details — including 26AS and full access to my ITR portal. I was a bit uncomfortable, but still gave the details, trusting the process.
I had clearly mentioned that I left my job a year ago and have been doing freelance work since then, though I didn’t have official contracts. I was honest about everything.
In the end, they rejected my offer. What’s worse is, I know people who faked their experience and still got the offer.
It’s really disappointing. Being genuine feels like a disadvantage these days. If companies don’t value honesty, then what’s the point of being truthful?
highly suggest not to choose this company. i will never in my life choose this company
