I have never had such a negative experience with any other interview. I applied for this position and got a call from recruiter to schedule a call with hiring manager which went fine and then next I was called for in person interview at their downtown Cleveland office. Initially recruiter told me that interview process would be 1-2 hours long, so I prepared well for questions that people normally would ask for this type of position but after I reached the hiring manager came and took me in a room where she didn't bother to introduce her self. She straight away started showing examples of the kind of work person at this position would be doing then she told me if I have any questions for her which shocked me and I was like that's it. I did asked her couple of questions but she didn't ask me a single thing about my experience, education, skill or if I have done this kind of work before or is this something I would be interested in or not or how I see this position fitting into my career, absolutely nothing. I think they had already filled up this position and at last minute they couldn't tell me not to come for an interview so that's why this entire charade was done. I could feel that she quickly wanted to wrap up this interview and just kick me out. This was a technical position and expected member of IT team to ask me technical questions like sql joins or may be take an excel test but nothing. I felt so weird so I asked her if I am going to be interviewing with someone else and seems like there was someone who was suppose to interview me but he got "busy" with another "urgent" project, which itself is so weird.
