I had a phone screen with Enzo, he asked if I could explain CD, I asked if he was referring to Continuous Deployment or Continuous Delivery as there are slight differences. He advised if I didn't know what it meant I was not successful.
I attempted to explain that Continuous Delivery CAN be released at any time, Continuous Deployment IS released as its committed, and he cut me off.
This was the second phone screening I had with AWS, the previous one I was asked how many 9's of availability are needed. I said this is very objective, my lab for example needs 1 (90%), but a production system would obviously require more. Again was told I wasn't successful.
Seems the people doing the screening are reading from a sheet of questions and answers, and don't really know what the questions mean. I progressed through Google, Microsoft, fine, and have a global cloud architect role at another competitor so know my stuff.
