I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied online. There was no recruiter that called me to set anything up. I received an email one week later after applying telling me when an operations manager would be calling me. The only only prep I had was from this site!( which does have good info by the way)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions, give me a time when you had to overcome an obstacle and what steps did you use. Also one math question which I totally suck at math unless I have a chance to study. Word problem, calculate how many shipments per week given so many work hours with so many employees. After failing the math question she gave me another one which again I didn't get. Note to interviewer, if I didn't get the first one right, obviously I am going to have a hard time with the next one.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
or an Amazon Level 4 (L4) Area Manager phone interview, you will face 2 to 3 main behavioral questions, alongside a highly possible operational math screening question. Because L4 is typically an entry-level management role (often targeted at recent college graduates or individuals with early-stage leadership experience), the focus shifts heavily toward potential, basic problem-solving, and your ability to lead groups of people
STAR method is a must. very results focused so add what you contributed. had 3 back to back interviews that were quick and they spent most of the time reading and taking notes
