Interview
* Phone screen with recruiter
* About a week later: phone interview with one engineer
* About two weeks later: phone interviews with engineers, manager, and bar raiser (five interviews total, spread across two days)

* Heavy on behavioral questions centered around Amazon leadership principles
* Several situational questions probing knowledge/experience in networking, Linux, system design, and coding
* What's in /proc?
* What happens when you navigate to amazon.com?
* Describe how DNS works.
* Describe how wireless router works at home.
* Troubleshooting exercise when website is unavailable. Describe steps you would take to troubleshoot. There were a few of these.
* Coding exercise: write function to read log file and print basic statistics.
* Coding exercise: given an org chart, write function to return common manager of two employees.
* System design: design a URL shortening service.
The interview process consisted of one phone screening round, followed by 4 loop interview rounds. All the rounds were surrounded around DSA, System Design and LP questions. More related to projects that I had worked in my previous organisation.

Many rounds of technical and non technical interviews with members of various teams. First round is an automated online assessment with two timed coding problems and a work style survey.
