I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Recruited at college career fair. Submitted resume at fair and online and was then invited to interview. All of these reviews hit it pretty spot on - math question, then 2-3 interviews in which you go over your work and typical behavioral questions. People were very friendly, and they mean it when they tell you to not come in business professional - dress smart casual for the interview, your interviewers will likely be wearing jeans. Overall, I felt it was an easy process. They're eager to hire college students.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
