I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Apr 2025
Interview
I was rejected right after round one so I would be sharing my experience of only one round. Two technical questions were asked and no Leadership principle questions were asked. I would rate both the problems as medium level with the first one being relatively easier than the second one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first question was to print all the subarrays in an array whose sum is 0, I explained the interviewer my approach and did code it.The second question was https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/problems/police-and-thieves--141631/1.In which I fumbled in the beginning as I have not seen this before, and was able to come up with all the approaches as the interview went on.But unfortunately, I was rejected.
I received an Online Assessment (OA) invitation from Amazon. The assessment consisted of two coding questions of medium to hard difficulty, focusing on data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. The questions required efficient solutions with optimized time and space complexity. After the OA, shortlisted candidates typically proceed to one or more technical interview rounds covering coding, system design, and behavioral questions based on Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Applied online via career site, received OA link within 2 days and cleared it, Round 1- DSA, Round-2 DSA, Round 3- System Design, Round 4- Mixed Technical Discussion and Behavioral.
