I applied online. There was a written assignment covering a basic contractural matter. The whole thing was rather cloak and dagger. The assignment was brought up in the interview and I was asked if there’s was more information I’d have liked to include . I was told it was kept intentionally ambiguous. This type of testing felt unnecessary for what is not entry level role. Frankly, the whole process was long and drawn out. They don’t leave much time for you to ask questions and dig deeply into your answers. I had a long loop interview and this seems rather unnecessary for the nature of the role. However, it did reveal that the rumours about the culture are to be believed. They got visibly annoyed when I would ask questions about the role or team that I would have no way of knowing if I were not already a member. Some of the interviewers were polite and engaging but others were a bit over the top.
