Interview
1) If experience is less than 3 years then generally you have to clear a written/online test.
2) Very basic aptitude questions, sql questions. unix questions, reasoning, programming ( C++/Java/C ).
3) If test cleared then face to face interview ( 1 - 2 rounds ).. Face to face will contain general programming questions like write a program for fibonacci, string functions etc. Lot of questions on unix if you are from unix background.
Prepare well for Unix, directory structure, grep,cd,sed, etc. If applying for support, SQL is a must. Pl/SQl is big advantage.

Unix commands and how to do various xyz things. You can always say that nobody mugs up all the questions and man page is best way to go. Interviewer definitely buy it.:)

They are conducting the Fake drives. Recently they had recruitment drive in Gurgaon for Pune location for C++ profile. First selection process was Aspiring Minds Amcat test. Second test was 1:1 face to face round. In second round they had 31 persons shortlisted but none them was selected for the job profile. I had answered every question asked in the interview despite that i did not received the call nor did anyone of the other person. At least they should mail all interviewees there status of the interview. The HR system of your company is entirely useless.
