Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you like to do for fun? which is an irrelevant question imo. That has nothing to do with the role and it felt like they kept pressing for more info. This question can also lead to someone revealing information about their personal life (family, children, religion, dating) that don’t need to be shared in an interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amergis Healthcare Staffing
Interview
Unprofessional. I first applied online and was contacted shortly after. I moved on to a phone screening. After that, I did an online Zoom interview with a couple managers. After that, I did an onsite visit/ another interview with managers. I was told I would hear back in 24 hours. I followed up multiple times with the recruiter and heard nothing back- ghosted. Extremely unprofessional considering I had invested time in multiple rounds of interviews at that point even commuting onsite and followed up with them. Seems like this is not an isolated incident according to other reviews. I would avoid.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your interview experience with us. We are sorry to hear about the amount of time, in-person and virtual, you put in only to not hear anything back. We normally don't use Zoom for any meetings we would like to know more about your experience so that we can address these issues. We encourage you to call our 24/7 SPEAK UP Hotline at 1-855-811-2045 so we can take any necessary appropriate action.
thank you!
The interview process begins with a phone screen with another recruiter.
Once you're cleared, you are scheduled for what's called a "Pit Sit" in which you are invited to the office to get a feel for the office culture. During the Pit Sit, you shadow 2 recruiters and their operating rhythms so you are familiarized with what you'll be doing on a daily basis. You can also utilize this time to ask any questions you may have regarding the company, or even what the recruiter's career path has looked like thus far. After you've met with the 2 recruiters, you will meet with either 2 managers, or a 1 manager 1 recruiter combo.
If you get past this process, you are invited back to the office for a final interview with the office Director of Business Operations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be prepared with situational questions such as "tell me about a time you had a difficult conversation with one of your colleagues" or "tell me about a time you didn't achieve a goal you set for yourself, and how did you react?"
I interviewed at Amergis Healthcare Staffing (Sacramento, CA)
Interview
Process was quite lengthy. Process consisted of : a phone screening, an in person interview, a “pit sit” (shadowing team members), and one last final interview with the director. Not too difficult but definitely lengthy.
