I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Jamaica, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
Super quick and easy.
Group interview with about 50 people in one room.
Then they called three of us in a time and asked us three questions in random order.
Then they tell you to go outside and wait, you'll know in about 10 minutes if you got the job or not.
If you got an offer:
Next day did some fingerprints and drug test. Waited a few months (3) to hear back that my background check was cleared and was good to start in January.
Once you start:
You'll probably see people you've interviewed with. Some people started during your 3 month wait which sucks because now they have a higher seniority than you!
I interviewed at American Airlines (Las Vegas, NV)
Interview
Interview process was fairly simple. You get interviewed twice by different admin and they make a decision within weeks of interview. I was referred in however many of the the people in my group of candidates did not make it through the entire onboarding process. for one reason or another.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Miami, FL) in Sep 2023
Interview
Did the application and got an interview in person the next day. The whole process took 3 weeks. Drug test was done on site. Waiting now to start my training
Interview was group setting, pretty straightforward and highly informative of what the job entails and what the expectations are. Went well overall, a word of advice is to be yourself and give honest answers.
