      Flight Attendant Interview

      May 29, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in May 2016

      Interview

I applied on December , on December 25 I received my video interview email. It took 5 months to get a call on May 23 when to a face to face interview and on May 24 got a call with a job offer. Now let's brake down the process of once you get to the training center for the face to face interview. The interview was at 12:30pm but I got to Dallas at 9:30am. I took a shuttle to the center where there were interviewees already waiting I approached them and introduced my self,(YOU HAVE TO MAKE CONVERSATION THEY'RE ALWAYS LOOKING AT YOU, BY THEY I MEAN THE EMPLOYEES THAT WILL INTERVIEW YOU) then we go into a room were we play a game the game is simple don't worry about that what you need to worry is the way you interact with the people at your table don't just stay quiet they are always taking notes ALWAYS. Smile be friendly but not fake friendly or over doing it friendly this is a no no, normal friendly is fine. After the group game comes the group interview. In this interview they sit you and 5 other candidates side by side and ask to say your name and say something about your self (MAKE IT SHORT, SAY YOUR FIRST NAME ONLY AND SOMETHINGS ABOUT YOU) after that they make you choose a card with a question and leave it face down, they tell you anyone can stand up first and read their question there's no particular order, they ask you read and answer in 30 seconds or less, there's no right or wrong answers, but MAKE SHURE YOU ANSWER IN 30 SECONDS OR LESS DONT GIVE THEN AN HOUR LONG SPEACH, like this long a*s review I'm writing lol (BE THE FIRST TO GET UP THEY TAKE THAT INTO ACCOUNT) after that they ask why do you want to become a flight attendant and you're done with the group interview. They take you back to the room, then they come and start calling names some will go home and some will go to get finger printed and the one on one interview. If you get to the one on one your 90% closer to getting the job, because that means they like you from the beginning remember that they were taking notes since the group game. I KNOW THIS IS A LONG REVIEW BUT I THOUGHT I SHARE THE WAY I SAW EVERYTHING GO DOWN GOOD LUCK YALL.
