I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2013
Interview
I filled an application for the position in early August. Mid-August I was invited to complete a virtual interview were there were several questions-scenario based. It took 2-5 business days to process. If you did well with the virtual interview a recruiter will schedule a face to face interview with you-Mine was August 29, 2013. The interview is an exciting time...be energetic and keep focused on your reason for being there. Don't over analyze, listen and smile..even if you feel you might've fallen short. Once the icebreaker is done-this will be on the first activities you will complete, you will be broken down into groups of 5-8 for a group interview. This is important the recruiters want to see your excitement for the job, along with the answers to the question-Listen with detail and answer. After the group interview, you will be taken back to the main room-where they will discuss benefits and answer questions. Recruiters will begin to call one by one those who they would like to move forward with. You will be finger printed, complete a reach test. After that has been completed you will be sent home. Give it two weeks and the HR recruiter will reachout with DOT forms and once that's cleared you will be invited back to Dallas for medical evals and training date assignment.
