I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines in Sep 2013
Interview
After the initial online application form, I received an e-mail about 4 days later stating that they were inviting me to complete the video interview. Before the interview begins there is a little bit of time to make sure your speakers and microphone are functioning and are at the right volume. There was a total of 6 questions that were asked and then I had approximately 30 seconds to think of my answer and 3 minutes maximum to record my answer. The questions were things like, "Why do you want to be an American Airlines flight attendant" or "Tell me of a time when you had to deal with an irate customer, and how did you handle it." About 4 days after that I received a call from the Talent Services dept. at American Airlines. They wanted to schedule a face to face interview. I am going to be flown out to Dallas and will be going through the face to face interview in a week.
