I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2013
Interview
Started off by applying for the job online. I eventually head back to do an online video interview within a week. The video interview was pretty easy as it asked standard interview questions. I then got notification that I passed the screening and was contacted for a F2F interview. Make sure you have a passport when you attend or else you will not be considered. The whole process was pretty much exactly how it was described on here in previous posts. You show up, check in, write a small prompt where you would go in the world and why, break off into groups of 5 for a small activity, head into the group interview, and then listen to the presentation about the company. You will then be lead one of two pathways and that is to the exit or you will get fingerprinted. They will tell you not to believe what is posted online or here on Glassdoor, for example, but everything is exactly as how people have been describing it. This is the only reason why they got a "Neutral Experience" from me. There is no need to lie or give false hope, but oh well. The experience was fun, I met some great people, and have definitely learned what to and not to do during future interviews with AA or other airlines.
