I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2024
Interview
I hate when people say not to trust Glassdoor. A previous applicant was spot on. For the F2F, you are separated into different groups. There is a recruiter in each group asking questions. Then you do different activities to basically see how you interact with others. Please PLEASE listen when I say this, if you are called in group 1 or 2 it is a TBT( thank you but no thank you) you are escorted to the shuttle to go back to the airport. You do not get a CJO. The last group does 1 on 1 interviews with the recruiters. They are either offered a CJO on the spot or not. I truly believe that the ones that are not offered CJOs after 1 on 1 are the later choice if someone as their 1st choice does not accept the offer. I’m just stating facts. Overall not a bad experience. I just wish they could be more honest when telling people the truth so they don’t get their hopes up.
