I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Omaha, NE) in Aug 2011
Interview
I went in as a second year college student looking for a part time job. I asked for an application to fill out on the spot. The assistant manager handed me an application, clipboard, and a pen. When I turned the application the store manager stopped to talk with me for a few minutes about what type of position I was interested in. She asked questions like "What does your availability look like?" "How many hours are you interested in?" and "What previous work experience do you have?" She seemed very friendly and interested in me as a potential associate. Next we set up a time for an actual interview the following Monday. The interview was very relaxed. It seemed to be more of a conversation about previous work experience and personal work ethic rather than a question-answer exchange. I was offered the job and asked to take an OAD. I am not sure what it stands for, but it is a personality quiz of sorts that produces information about work ethic, motivational needs, and ideal work environment. Which has proved to be very useful in my time working there. From there we set up a time for orientation and training later in the week.

Interview
-pretty easy, went inside for an interview and they asked me about my experience. They then made me try on a bunch of clothes and taught me how to fold them.

Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
