I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Spokane Valley, Spokane, WA) in May 2014
Interview
Walked into the store to ask if they were hiring for any positions, and they said yes and gave me an application. Filled it out, and the same day got a phone call asking for an interview. It was few minutes for the manager to interview as she was busy. When it was time for the interview, it was held on the sales floor. The questions were easy to answer. She wanted to know about my job experience, if I've ever worked in sales, and what I like about American Eagle. The whole process took about 15 minutes.

Interview
Straightforward behavioral questions. Ask them anything really. Provide any details or anything really about this role and why you want to be part of the team. Overall, the process seemed laid back.

Interview
They call and ask to schedule an interview with you. Then you meet face to face and get a chance to get to know your store manager or assistant store manager. Overall it was a typical interview process.
