I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters in Nov 2008
Interview
It was really simple, they were just interviewing one on one back then, but have since switched to group interviews for the most part. The best advice I can give is to be positive, and show the interviewer your personality. They like to hire people who are energetic and can handle the pressure of the fast paced retail world. Also, answering the questions without generic answers can help you stand out among other applicants.
