I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (State College, PA) in May 2016
Interview
I was contacted by their recruiter and was scheduled for an interview. The next day I asked some "deal breaker" questions I had. I was only given generic answers that didn't help at all. At the end of the call, I asked what my pay would be. I was told "depends on how many people you sicker into buying insurance through us." When I questioned her answer, I was told that I just had to get them to buy the insurance and then they would find out if they wanted to keep it. I told her right there that I wouldnt be to the interview and hung up. I was basically told to blow smoke so people would buy the insurance and then find out that it's crappy insurance. I refused to do that so I never even made it to a formal interview. Then she had the guts to try to get me to come back 3 times in 3 days.
I interviewed at American Income Life (New Haven, CT)
Interview
Easy interview process nice people. 100 percent commission which i didn't love but its a bet on yourself type of business. would recommend working here great culture and environment flexible work hours
I applied through other source. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
I did not apply for this job at all, apparently they reached out to me via text message. I believe this company is the most active on ZIP RECRUITER which is how they found me. I went through 2 interviews, it was only at the 2nd interview I discovered these people were LYING BETWEEN THEIR TEETH. They didn't mention at all that the job is completely comission based and tried to play it off saying "you get base pay to an extent." Even worse they try to get you to pay for licensing which makes no sense when you can easily get other types of licening elsewhere which wouldn't even cost anything. Don't work for these people at all
