I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Brentwood, TN) in Sep 2016
Interview
Was brought into a manager's office for an initial review to see if I'd be a good fit in the company. Once I passed that I was asked to join about 20 others in a larger room where we all filled out a personality questionnaire and listened to the owners of that branch tell us a little about the company and how lucrative a career it can be. After that, I was called later that day to come in again the next day to meet with one of those two for the real, "why should we hire you, what are your goals, etc" type of interview. Then I was offered the job on the spot.
It's a little gimmicky because they tell you they're hiring entry level insurance producers, company managers and supervisors as well. The gimmicky part is that EVERYONE starts at the insurance producer's position. So no they are NOT directly hiring for management but the opportunity for quickly moving up the ladder is there if you're willing to put in the time.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Torrington, CT) in Jan 2022

I had a very pleasant interview at the Perez agency. I was definitely nervous and Francisco put me right at ease. I love the opportunities for growth here and can’t wait to get started.

You watch a quick Zoom presentation to learn about the selling process and expectations. Then you meet on a short Zoom interview. They ask basic questions to see if you're the "self-motivated" type.
