I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Income Life (Grand Rapids, MI)
Interview
This was a group session for select candidates, although I specifically asked if it was and was told NO.
I also asked if this was a salary position rather than a commision based sales position. I was lied to and told it was not a commision based position. During the group interview it was clearly stated that the position was a 100% commissioned sales position.
Don't get suckered like I did. Unless you like going to peoples homes to convince them to purchase your product this is not the job for you.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Fairview Heights, IL) in Jun 2016
Interview
First call is deceiving. They imply there is an actual position with a salary and benefits. You go in and are not connected to the person you are told you will interview with. At the same time several other people (10-20) are also showing up for the same time slot. The actual opportunity was to buy in to a franchise. You have to pay to get insurance licenses and it is reminiscent of a multi-level marketing situation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first guy I saw didn't really ask questions pertinent to my work experience. It was more about where I live and my transportation.
