Was offered an interview for "personnel manager". I asked many times for a job description so I would know what I'm interviewing for - they never provided it. I cancelled the interview, then was contacted again and got enough information to move forward, believing I was interviewing for a personnel manager position. This was odd, as that is not my background but I figured it would be good practice. They then sent me a text message that said something to the affect of "dress appropriately for the interview". VERY BIZARRE and an insult as well. What recruiter tells the candidate how to dress?? I cancelled the interview then and there, and told them I was no longer interested. I have also noted on Glassdoor that many others were promised an interview for the same position, and that it was a bait and switch - looks like when people get there they find out it's sales. I have since been bombarded incessantly with phone calls- 3-4 a week, from these people. I told each one to remove my name from their records. They obviously do not keep good records, if any. The harassment is very disruptive. This company is UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST.
