I received a call that they had seen my resume and wanted to talk. I called to see what they were interested in. They falsified who they were on the phone call saying they were with the Taylor group, leaving out that it was American income life- the Taylor group. Seeing as the Taylor group is a very large international company and is what comes up when you look up the Taylor group on Google, certainly seems quite shady. When I called in they wanted me to come into an interview the next day at 0930, I work from 1000-1330 doing gigs to pay my bills so that wasn't possible, I asked for other times, they "politely" informed me the only time they were doing interviews was Tuesday and Thursday of this week from 0930-1000, I said that seemed like a short time for a set of interviews especially for a management position and was informed that was it, take it or leave it, and if my schedule changed fine, but otherwise goodbye and they hung up.
They are doing mass interviews in 30 minutes, using a different company's name as their contact information. Be VERY careful when responding to requests for an interview here. Hit numerous red flags.
1.) false name: Technically gave part of their name but it definitely is meant to make you think it is a different very large international company.
2.) Very short interview time: 30 minutes for a management position is ridiculously short, clearly they don't care about quality employees.
3.) Only two interview times a week, only for one week: Mass interviews in a 30 minute period, this is insane, obviously they don't care who works there, just as long as they can get you in and get you working. Probably 1099 positions and full training??? Yeah right.
4.) Overly general claims: We are the main group working with all the unions, the police, the firefighters, and all the others. Really? working with them to do what? No explanation, when asked the only answer was benefits.
Clearly a Multi Level Marketing job!
