I applied online. I interviewed at American Red Cross
Interview
Was invited to participate in 3 one hour interviews and then did not hear back from HR. HR should have had the professional courtesy to provide follow-up on status of position or even a thanks for applying but we selected a more qualified candidate email. Very unprofessional. I was excited about the organization and position but that was a disappointment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
HR did not have any questions at all regarding my experience or qualifications to do the job but only focused on behavioral questions and how I would adapt to change. And HR was not able to answer my questions regarding the position but just said if selected to move on to the next interview I could ask those questions...left you not knowing much about next steps.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Red Cross in Aug 2022
Interview
Fairly standard process - phone screen interview with the recruiter, followed by two rounds of online interviews with hiring manager and members of the team. From submission of resume for the position, to initial screening interview was approximately a week, with the full interviews occurring a week to two weeks apart.
Overall a decent interview experience, but while I was told I'd hear from the recruiter regardless of whether or not I was going to be offered the position, that didn't happen and I learned I was no longer being considered via the applicant portal.

Question 1
Interview questions were behavioral based - almost all were a "tell me about a time when..." style questions. The second round interview did include presenting the results of how I approached a homework assignment representative of the type of work the position would encounter.
