I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen (South San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Phone interview and then on-site interview. Met with direct manager and then ancillary management that were site-specific and internal customers of the department I was interviewing with. The site I interviewed at was fiercely independent of the corporate office (located in Thousand Oaks). Priorities did not always align and I even got a sense of that disconnect during my interview.

It is a 3 stage interview process. The first is with the recruiter, the second is with the hiring manager, and the last is someone from the team. There were mainly a lot of behavioral questions

Question 1
What interests you most about the role and what interests you the least about the role?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amgen in Feb 2025
Interview
I received an automated email from Gene, the AI Recruitment assistant. I scheduled the Recruiter call, using Calendly, which was only a 30-minute call. The recruiter called me on time, and only asked 4 questions.
Standard HR screen, then 30min HR interview, then 30 min interview with 3 other team members. There were about 1-2 weeks between stages. Most communication was thru email and text message.
However, after the final interviews I was never contacted again even though my online applicator was still active. I tried emailing and calling my HR contact. No email response and the phone number was always busy. It was a very good experience up until not getting any closure. I found it very off-putting to be ghosted after final interviews.
